1-up Endor Stars - what pads!?

So, how exactly do you solder a 1-up Rebel Endor? There's three sets of pads. Do the other two have to be shorted?

OK, for all the comedians I'll answer the obvious ones:

1. Very Carefully
2. With a shovel and a six pack of beer (just be sure to use a sharp shovel)
3. They suck - use Crees.
4. Who cares... Pats -vs- Saints start in a few minutes.

But seriously, what's the trick to 1-up Endors?

each pad is independent to each other

If you notice 3-up endor pads used in lights or what not has a bridging resistor marked 0 or a solder bridge between contacts.
