10 amp batteries aa or 16340 size?????

Despite You not mentioning it I asume You talk about LiPo cells, right?

Only LiFePO4 cells can deliver that power in a small package and the smallest I have (heard of) is 18650 size (1100mA) and therefore only 3.3V.

On the other hand there's high power LiPo cells for R/C use but they're all flat, so no use either.

10Amps fron a 14500 would be something like 20 times the cell capacity, round cells can't do that in LiPo/LiIon technology!

i want safe chemistry like the aw 16340 imr or a123 sistems

the capacity (ma/h) not are very important for me

Only at 1.2V in that size for 10+A ( NiMh )

Not what you want...but thats all I know....

Can you use the IMR123 in parallel to raise the current capability, or are you hopeing for the the smallest 10A light you can build?

if no way to find 10 amp 16340 or 14500 i will use aw 18650 imr (16 amp max)
but i will try to find first 10 amp 16340 or 14500 with safe chemistry
