.12 ohm resistors - How to order from the Shoppe?

Wayne - the Shoppe shows me that .12 ohm resistors are in stock, but I can never add any to my shopping cart. I've had no problem with the .10, .15 and .18, just the .12's. Are you aware of this? Also, I see new 500ma BB boards listed as 'Rev. 4'. What changes are in the rev. 4 board?

Sorry about that. Thought that was just a random fluke. I found what was causing the error and fixed it.

The new Badboys are more efficient. Currently, this batch has many components swapped with a different part number. Functionally the same, but, looks different and should be more efficient.

This version now sports the CRS08 diode which lowers the power dissipated in the discrete diode and upping the efficiency a few percent. Next round the inductor will be swapped and again I anticipate a gain of a few percent.

This is still the LT1618 design. There is a possible nexgen which will use a completely different IC and that should cross over the 90% efficiency at output drive levels up to 1A. If it comes to market, it would only be able to drive the 1W/3W LED and have a max Vout of 5V.

As of today, only BB500 is the version 4, right? I ordered a couple of BB400 a few days ago and now they were just shipped. I'm assuming they still have 1N5817.

Anyway, I just built a McLux PR head with BB777 + CRS08 + 5W LED for use with McGizmo's L1 mod and I saw 5~10 minutes runtime increase by the diode swap. I think it's worth doing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
