150mw Green Laser Pointer

Does anyone know anything about this laser on Ebay? Make, quality etc.

i used to have that one. it has no IR filter installed, so its dangerous and almost all the power is IR , not green. Its a cheap china knockoff. The lense is also plastics and mine got warped after the first few hours (ive also heard that from most others that've had this one). Luckily i returned mine. if you want my advice, stick to a reputable brand and seller. See is theres one you can get from wickedlasers,dragonlasers,laserglow, or lucentoptics...ect.

Not only is this laser not really 150mW of green, but the seller is also hijacking pictures from other people and claims it to be a Wicked laser. When in reality its probably a spymodex.

These eBay idiots need to be shot... They manage to sell these things to unsuspecting people who just want raw power, dont know better, and think they are getting a good deal. Little to do they know they are propbably getting less than 40mW of green, and over 100mW of invisible IR, which you cannot see and can blind you without even knowing it.

Rule of thumb...if you buy from eBay, and they claim the laset to be 150mW..its really a IR laser with some green mixed in. Almost every 150mW pointer on eBay is false and mostly IR.

I totally agree, its the Egay retards that prey upon the uninformed creating many bad experiences. My rule of thumb is you get what you pay for especially in regards to Laser pointer technology so I generally stay away from any listed deals unless they have some real specs to back up there claims and even then it can still be a scratch off. There are great deals to be had on Egay but there is also an enormous amount of Snake Oil Salesman that comes with each Category.

Hi !! I'm a newbie...I've read all the info on mod my 5mw green laser, but they all direct their directions to removing the rubber mounted switch. I have a steel switch that has a locking ring on the inside...how do I get to the pod???Thanks DAN-802
