18650 charging from a 12v source Pila vs UltraFire WF-139

BOTH the WF-139 and the PILA IBC Charger have optional DC cords available.

an advantage perhaps of the PILA (besides being a better charger) is the ability of handling 12-24VDC vs the 12VDC of the WF-139?
Unfortunately w/ DC Cord the PILA becomes triple the cost of the WF-139

I keep the DC adapter for my WF-139 in the car glove box, along with a nano for single 16340's & 10440's. All fits in a sunglass case perfectly.
Just grab whatever rcr's you need & the charger when packing for camping / trips ...whatever.
Seems to work just as consistently well on DC as in the house (4.20v) for 18650's.

Have not tried the Pila yet.

Ya it's funny....my wf-139 charges 18650 to exactly 4.2 volts every time but my Pila only to 4.16 volts. Pila has a better algorithm but I'm getting a little more "juice" stored up when I use the WF-139.
