Will a non first run LS run on 1AA?

Would the 1st run be half as bright or run half as long on 1AA?

Hmm, I tried my LSH-P with an Energizer lithium 1xAA...I got light, I don't think it was bright as it should be though and it was just out of curiosity, so I didn't do any runtime tests...just turned the thing on and then turned it off again...Mr adventurous eh?

Have you considered using a 3v 14500?

I don't remember turning on my LS-series Arcs with a regular AA, but the First Runs doturn on even if the AA-cell has been drained already, no so with the LS...

ARC LS lights will run fine off AA, but First Runs will be happier doing so.

First Run boards are comprised of 2 ARC AAA circuits, the unpotted one below has a tweaked diode for increased efficiency and has been driving a USW0H SSC P4 for a few weeks now :)
