I am looking for a source of 1 mm white LEDS?
I am looking for a source for 2mm white LEDs?

Anyone know of a source for 1-10 pieces?

I want to place a light inside a piece of glass for display or use as a back light a piece of glass that has been etched.

My other solution may be to take a 1mm clear rod placed ontop of a normal 5 or 3mm LED to transmit the light into the 1-2mm hole I have to make the item stand out more for display.

If you can't find what you need there, most of the time you're better off not looking.

If you are lucky, wander round to your local large shop with christmas stuff, and see if they've got any left-over fibre-optic christmas trees heavily discounted.

Otherwise, just get a fibre-optic lamp - I recently purchased one for 8 pounds, that has maybe 2000*30cm fibers, 0.7mm in diameter or so.
Attach a bundle to a LED, and you've got a hundred or so points of light when you drill the holes.
