1st Production Car with LED headlights-Audi A8 W12

Audi A8 L 6.0 W12 Quattro has taken the honour of being the first production car to be equipped with a LED headlight - it is being used for the daytime running lights.

I believe it is the inner star shape light assembly. The outer lights look like the traditional adaptive Xenon HID.

headlights just get more and more complex nowadays... rocket scientist required to change lightbulb.. that is IF the LED blows... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif overdriven?
