Did I miss something here? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/popcorn.gif

Thanks for the day 1 report!

The new Inovas do sound cool. I'm a bit confused about the Inova X0. Does it have a lens like the X1 that focuses the light into a tight spot? Or does it have an optic like an Arc LS that gives a flood beam? I hope a spot beam with a very long throw - it's about time a LED flashlight gave an incandescent a run for it's money with respect to throw.

From the Pocketlights report:

"Emissive Energy Corp., manufacturer of Inova flashlights, announced four new, regulated LED flashlights at the 2004 SHOT Show. These new flashlights are the XO, T1, T3 and T4. The XO is the newest addition to the Inova X series LED flashlights. It looks like the bigger brother to the Inova X5. See below. The XO features a 1 watt Luxeon Star LED with a special lense that captures 92% of the light emitted from an LED. It takes two 3-volt lithium batteries which provide an 8 hour run-time. The lense is protected by a mineral glass covering. The XO has an MSRP of $59.00.

Inova introduced three new tactical LED flashlights -- the T1, T3 and T4. The T1 and T3 feature upgraded nurling, a clicky switch that has both temporary and constant on/off functionality. The T1 houses a 1-Watt Luxeon Star LED, is powered by a 3-volt lithium battery and has an MSRP of $59.00. The T3 houses a 3-Watt Luxeon Star LED, is powered by two 3-volt lithium batteries and has an MSRP of $79.00.

The T4 utilizes a 4-Watt Luxeon star LED and is powered by a removable, rechargeable lithium ion battery. The T4 comes with both an AC and DC charger. Battery charging time is 2.5 hours. The T4 has a retail price of $119.00.

All of the T series lights feature a tough sapphire protected lense covering and have 2 hour run-times."
