I may have to snag one of these up in the near future. Especially when Streamlight seems to be the go to light when its widely available at most local uniform stores.

Strions have a good reputation...deservedly so.

I do find it curious that they seemingly moved away from the start on high- push n hold for medium, low, medium high set up where 2 quick clicks gets you a strobe setting. Instead it seems the went the way of the Protac with its ten tap configuration. Hmmmm.

I liked the Strion/Stinger combo carry because they had matching interfaces. And I carried a Protac HL/HL4 combo for their matching interfaces.

And I like the "use only in emergency" two quick clicks to access a strobe in the Stinger/Strion setup where with ten tap it's either in the factory cycle or not at all.
I wonder if Streamlight somehow kept the 2 quick click strobe in a ten tap flashlight.

Now the side switch? Most definitely like that idea.
