Just finished up this host today. It's an Aleph style light but will have a custom LE can. She's a biggin. I would say along the Fatty lines. Very thick walls. Definitely has some heft to her. 😀 I took a couple pics next to a standard Aleph 1 light so you can see the size difference. The back of the tail cap has the same taper down to the switch as both the outside of the TC and the head.

Specs are as follows:

Head based on McR27mmXR reflector
Crenelated Bezel ring
18650 Spilt body (seamless)
Tail cap with McGizmo McClickie switch

The plan is to outfit this light with an SST-50 driven by either a single level 1amp driver or maybe a Flupic for multilevel.

Sorry for the crappy pics. I'll get some better ones in the next couple days as time permits.

Hi Brian,
What is the cost for the total build?
Regards,
Barry

Hi Brian,
What would the build cost with a RCR123 body with multi level LE.
Thanks,
Barry

Wow, this is beautiful !

This must be a tank & should weigh a "ton".

Well the light is with its new owner now. I hope he's happy with it.

I finished up the LE the other day. It was totally custom from the ground up. It houses a 3 level driver which cannot be seen. I spent probably as much time making the LE as I did the light itself! Here's a few pics.

It's in my hands as I write this. This is a nice light and a bright sucker also. Keep up the great work Brian.:party::party::party::party::party::party:

I'll be honest and state this one is "too much" for me. Sometimes "more" "bigger" "thicker" is not better, in my taste that is.

Execution seems *perfect* though, just as always!!

Just an update, I have been using this light for a few weeks now. It has a perfect hot-spot and is bright. It feels like no other:party:. Get Brian to make you one if you can.

+1

I like the size of 1x123 lights. 🙂
