2CR5 equivalent to CR123?

I just picked up a 2CR5 cell at Target on clearance for $2.72 because the individual cells looked just like the cell that my Inova 24/7 headlamp uses, which are CR123. Is one of the CR5 identical to a CR123? If so, can the Energizer 2CR5 package be easily and safely disaassembled to render two individual cells?
