2xAA profile (4" long) Li-Ion?

Does such a monster exist? Would it be hard to make one using 2 undersized units?

A couple years ago, I favored the 2AA side-by-side form factor and asked a similar question. Someone replied that it was possible to take an Underwater Kinetics (UK) 2AA plastic light, use two 14500 lithium-ion cells, and run a higher-voltage UK lamp in the same head. I forget the particulars.
