Is it a bad idea to run 3 Buckpucks in parallel to power 1 P7 / MC-E? I would be using 2 3032-dn-1000's and 1 3023-d-n-700 for a total of 2700ma

I dont have the MC-E's wired in series, they are all in parallel.

It should work.

There have been several discussions about wiring multi-emitter lights. Since current is the same for all elements in a series circuit, all LED's would get the same amount of power. The one with the lowest forward voltage won't get over powered. With the P7 you have no choice. But with the MC-E, it would be better to use the series star. Then you can power them with a single 700ma BuckPuck.

That might cause problems with high voltage requirements. You could go the other way and use 2 paralleled 350ma BoostPucks instead. What kind of light were you planning on putting it in?
