I have 2 questions please :

How do you install/remove the AA's from the battery holder ?
Does either of the holder's ends unscrew to let them slide out, because in the photos it seems like the plastic rings are covering both of each battery's ends.

Also, is any of the deep and Bi-focal reflectors better than the other for throw ? and if yes, is there a significant difference ?
Looking at the holder in the pictures there's a knurled aluminum end that screws off. You can then pull the plastic end off and load your batterys. As far as the best throwing reflectors it makes a differance what bulb you're using. I have found the 2" deep smooth reflector works best with small bulbs like the WA1185. The TM 2.5" VLOP head works well with the WA1185 and is the best for the FM1909. Large axle filiment bulbs like the 64458 work best with large reflectors like the FM3X VLOP.
Edit:So there you hear from the man FM him self.

Help !!!

I just received my order (thanks fivemega 🙂) but i haven't been able to fit them in my 3D M@g :

The G4 bi pin brass socket doesn't seem to fit in the original lamp's pot hole, it only gets in for 1-2mm, is it such a snug fit ? should i warm the hole in order to fit the socket in ?

The cam of the Bi-focal reflector, has thread at the top inside, so has the reflector at the bottom outside, but they don't match (completely different diameters)

Finally the reflector doesn't "sit" into it's place, so the bezel can only screw for only a turn or so, leaving a big gap with the head, again, i was afraid to push it very hard, should i ?

Please advise :mecry:

Edit: forget the socket, i snuged it in, if anyone can help with the rest, please do tell.

Anyone ??

I have the terrible feeling that i got the wrong reflector 🙁

Please return it for refund.

I don't think it worth the trouble and i don't really mind, but i need a reflector, i tried the light for brief intervals with the stock reflector and it's really great.

Is the deep reflector the only option ?
Also, when the cam of the stock reflector pushes far down the bulb, the isolated pole of the socket pops up, ejecting the bulb :

Is this because it wasn't supposed to go this far down ? do i have to get a new one ?
