3AAA to C adapter

Has anyone made one of these or thought about it? I know the capacity of AAA's aren't very high, but it would allow you to run NiMH in the C cell mag mods. I've looked at radio shack and they have a 4AAA holder, but it's bigger than a C cell. Any body have any ideas?

There has been discussion of this in the past. So far nothing has come of it. For ideas, you can use keyword searching for the following phrase (be sure to use the quotes):

I have been contemplating making a few of these for use with my AAA rechargeables. I will probably end up making a set and then doing some runtime tests to see if they really are worth using.

Paulw, I did the search as you said, but nothing specific came up. I had thought about making somthing too. I'll have to try some things. 8 aaa's would be a good mod.
