I wanted to get the Ledcorp PR style replacement bulbs for my 3D Mag. The LED museum reviews the single LED quite favourably, but then on the Ledcorp site, there's a choice between a single and a double LED.

Anyone know the differences in light output/runtime and "focusability" ?

Or should I wait until they do a Luxeon Star version - that surely has to be on the way ?

The single LED is meant specifically for use in an adjustable flashlight with a smooth reflector, while the double LED version works much better in a fixed focus light using a faceted reflector.

I noticed that the site only gives you that info (small print) at the last moment when you go to - "order now", not on the specification page.

Annoying.

Ps - Do you think there'll be a Luxeon star version soon - will they be able to keep the "focusability" in something like that ?
