3W drop-in module for Arc LS?

Hi y'all--

Is anybody aware of a publically available 3W "sandwich" that will fit the Arc LS head? I have had a look inside at the stock board, and reverse-engineering a replacement board that size is way beyond my soldering capabilities.

I would be grateful for any help locating such a thing if available.

There aren't any drop-in modules for the ARC. What you want is someone to mod your ARC for you. There are several guys that do these and it will be easy for you to get it done. I'll send you a PM(Private Message). Click on the flashing flag at the top left of your screen.

I sometimes send PMs when I'm going to be long winded. it seems there is a lot of interest in this, so here's a short version.
The first guy I would contact is CM. He has the reputation of being the "Master" with electronics. If he can't mod your ARC he can recommend who will. Ask for his advice and take it.

Yes, CM does a good job. I also am willing to mod your Arc, PM me for details. The most popular setup right now seems to be a nice Luxeon III, a Fraen LP optic, and a drive current of 667 or 750mA.
