Greetings all!

For some time now I am tinkering with the idea of a multi emitter light and thanks god I put off going for the XR-Es.

Now I have setup my wished for light in my mind and I need to start building it.

So the main idea is 3 quad-die emitters in a mag head and a C body, for an hour of runtime

Thus I need your advice on parts:

I am going for beam quality so MC-E or P7? ( I opted for 3 LEDs to use as more space as possible for larger reflectors
4C Mag body for 4 IMR 26500 (factoring in driver losses I will get 1 hour plus with these)
What driver? ( I do not want to modify the switch operation other than cutting the post)
What heatsink for the driver? (maybe this?)
What heatsink for the LEds? (maybe this?)
What reflectors? The easy way is to use this DX one

But guys I need to buy from as few vendors as possible…otherwise the postage to Greece will kill me!

Thanks a bunch, kostas

We still have some "Boomproof hosts" dust collecting at the factory. I would like to get them out before June 15th.

I'm essentially building exactly what you are, except in D form. Shark Buck 3A, running 3 MC-E in 4P mode, in series. I'm using the Ledil Boom S reflector, but they also have them for the P7. There is also Der Wichtel's P7 Triple P7 kit. The heat sink looks really nice, and the reflectors fit exactly. I haven't seen any beamshots, but it's supposed to be decent.

I'm using a Download heatsink, with emitters directly AA'd to the heatsink.

I might have gone Der Wichtel route if I hadn't already had some of the parts. The heatsink has more mass.

The DX reflector probably won't do real well, you will get a donut in the middle of your beam, it was designed to work with the XR-E is my guess.
