Had you read the huge quote you posted the answer is right there in the specs.

Please make sure total forwarded voltage to 3XML module is no greater than spec.

8.4 volt version will work in 6C or 6D (6 NiMH), 2C (2x18650) and 2D (2x18650 or 6AA), 2.5D (2x32700) and many other configurations.

12.6 volt version will work in 3C (3x18500), 1.25D (3x17670), 3D (3x18650 or 9AA), 3.5D (3x32700) and many other configurations.

They are two separate versions.

So the answer is No

As mentioned by Norm, the 8.4V and 12.6V options are voltage specific.

Another option you can consider if you need versatility in terms of voltage options...
Get the Adaptor Kit (No module) option.
Click on the 3XML(3 Cell) link in Post#1 - it will link to a 9-22V module option. That will give you more options.

Hi jonwkng Thanks for answering me, I was a little lost yesterday ( still am on this sit ) did not express my self clearly, I meant adaptor kit with out module the other Dude seemed to be very knowledgeable about flashlight :naughty: almost gave me a page of lecture. So are they still available The Adaptor Kit With Out Module . (`I`M trying to fit a 2000 lumens with this adaptor kit , 5 mode wished me luck ) still don't understand how to make the payment , I`ll work it out somehow.
