darmawaa, they were max. settting, both were near 2.8A current draw.

Here is actual measurement from the tail of body & 18650 negative terminal.
4.18V current draw 0.09A, 0.78A, 2.75A
4.08V current draw 0.08A, 0.63A, 2.3A
4.04V current draw 0.08A, 0.63A, 2.24A
SST-50 GH102 brightness is very close to MC-E M bin. But the volt-in is slighty higher than Cree.

Im sure many of us would like to hear a few words from those who have the SST-50 version. Thanks musch.....

Just got mine and it's just as fantastic as the MCE. It's hard to tell but the MCE beam seems a little tighter thus giving more throw. The SST50 has a much smoother beam due to the large single die. Depending on what these put out for lumens they seems very close. Hard to tell which one is brighter. I think MCE will do a little better, due to the lower VF and higher minimum lumens. Either way, hard to tell with the naked eye, they are both excellent. Kudos download.

SST-50 beam pattern has a huge improvement compared to MC-E.
Especially in small reflector. No more dark hole, donut ................. just perfect hotspot.
Small & powerful with nice beam profile. It becomes my favour EDC.
