50,000 CP C-cell

Does anyone have the 50,000 candlepower flashlight from Koehler-Bright Star / LSI
how bright is the light because it hard to believe that a 3 C-cell flashlight could put out 50,000 candlepower

Candlepower is usually used when the bright spot is measured. By focusing the lamp into a nearly-unusable, but astoundingly bright little bright-spot, candlepower claims can go way up. There's at least one little AA light that does exactly that. So I get less sceptical of the candlepower claim, than I do about the size of the bright spot.
