I just spotted a 52 Leds flashlight offer at Ebay and wonder anyone here would be interested to bid for it.

That's a lot of LED's but kind of a Pot Luck combination and questionable build quality.

I think I will hold on to my DB37

actually I think this is just a comedy routine and there isn't any DB 52 or whatever for sale at all, whether he finds the lens or not.

I think you're spot-on in your assessment.

Wonder when white LEDs started emitting "large quantities" of UV and IR?

Wonder why he used NSPW515BS (frosted lens) LEDs in the middle. They're worthless in this application with all those 20° and 50°clear lens versions surrounding it. They should have never ended up in this flashlight. They should be replaced with NSPW510BS (50°, clear lens) if he wants to do a mixture.

Filter caps on a 100% battery powerered application?
Sound more like connector problems to me.

Hmm, you could be right but I don`t think so...I think he`s just an honest guy having fun building lights and trouble with pic`s.

Myself, having as much talent as a dead flat frog on the road, I admire anyone who has the skill and patients to build their own.

And his use of different types of led`s shows an added twist of creativity.

Bet this guy would love the regulated step-ups that our hobbist play with...I`d like to see this guy join our group...
