been of the scene for a while and just come back to a X1 - heaven.
anyway was wondering what is the brightest 5/8 mm white LED available and where to get from.

have nice new table that is crying out for a blob or 2 of solder /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I found some 8mm on ebay. they are actually a 8mm case with 4 dice in it. they run @ 100mA. waiting for my green,blue and white to arrive 2.50ea. I will post some reviews when I get them.

A user is selling these in BST on the forum. I forgot his name. I might have a use for 2 blues, actaully, I need a wide beam, and I think the 10mm model is the wide beam, as the lens looks very short...

I can't find the ISP 8mm on ebay. All I find are 8mm with one die in them rated for 20/30ma.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif Got a link? I think I want some blues..

these are about as bright as Nachia whites. These have a 10 degree angle, so the MCD rating is higher.

I need to ask him if he'd put a few 10mm blues up. The wide angle is perfect for area lighting purposes.
