6AA Adapters?

I've been searching everywhere for the existance of 6AA adapters... I've seen 4AA to D, 1AA to C or D, etc. but no 6AA. While searching CPF I saw a mention in another post about a 6AA series / parallel adapter (that would only be 3.6 / 4.5 volts with double capacity), but I can't seem to find anything else about it. Does such a beast exist?? Thanks for any info!!

I ordered one of modamags 8AA-2D (and wish I could afford more!!!) with the intent at this time to use with two dummies to make it a 6AA-2D.

Fivemega is about to have 9AA and it looks like also 6AA adapters that look bitchin'! They will cost quite a bit, but I'm so in for a 9AA!!!

What did you originally have in mind for them?

There is a soft start, voltage regulated 8AA-2D adaptor in 3.6 volt size.
You may have both mine for $60 and 10 2d mag bulbs (bright without instaflashing)
and 10 3d mag bulbs included if you want to go this route.
If not, I'll put this setup on bst later on for anyone else.

Take a look on Lambda's website Lambda's Mega , it uses a modified 6AA holder. Contact him to see if he has any available.
