6P/9P parts on a L4 body?

No for the tailcap....Yes for the head.
Go to lighthound.com and buy an E-C adaptor, they are about $20.00

You just need an E-C adapter, John @ lighthound sells them.

If you already have an L4 body (or an E series body) and a 6P head, it's much less expensive to buy an adapter ($20) than to buy a C2/C3. Also, adding a 6P head to an L4 body allows you use high output incandescent D26 LAs (from Lumens factory, say) with an E body. You could also put a Cree drop-in into a 6P head and add it to an E body.
