6V Heavy-Duty Zinc-Chloride Lantern Battery from Radio Shack

Does anyone have any experience with this battery? I have a gift certificate for Radio Shack and was thinking of buying this battery. Thanks.

That is a cheap carbon zinc battery, not worth it. Buy an alkaline 6v instead.

If you really like the light I would think about a 4D to 6v adapter as D cells may have less capacity but you can usually get twice as many for the same price and it will make the lantern a little lighter.
