6Z lens

What size lens would I need for a 6z sure fire light. It is an older one, about 6 or 7 years old. Still my favorite light. I see flashlight lens has one for the g2 wonder if that one will fit, must have more light! Thank you! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

You can either get a black 6p bezel to replace yours. They have AR coated pyrex lenses.
The UCL could fit fine size wise but if the 6z lens is one of these snap to fit lexan lens type of bezel, then it might be tricky to make it work.

it will probably be easier to replace the bezel with a z44 bezel from the newer Surefire 6P models. i have a 6Z too, and it is on my duty belt all the time. the upgrade to the z44 bezel was easy and now the 6Z has the added benifit of not rolling around on me. i think it would be way easier and more secure then replacing the lens.

as a side note, my 6Z had a slight deformation of the original lens from years of use.
