I have tried the search functions for a few time to get some answer, but to no avail I got to ask the CPF'ers for help.

Currently right now I am looking to buy a Surefire M2, or a C2 if it's cheap, but I don't know if the 6p,9p's parts will fit on the M2 or C2.

Will the head of Surefire 6p, or Solarforce L2 fits on the body of M2 or C2? cause I really like one of the Solarforce L2 heads and would like to fit on the M2 or C2. Here's the link to the LEGO piece:

Also will the bezel of 6p fits on the M2 or C2? cause by photos they do look like the same size.

If the 6p bezel doesn't fit the M2 or C3, would someone be nice and point me to a source for M2 or C2 bezel? :D

Thanks for the help guys. :)

Perfectly interchangeable!

Wow.. 3 yrs have passed and is this your first post?
would be that a "welcome"???

:welcome: any way!

Thanks for the info kramer5150 and Dioni. I will now buy a few things to make my ultimate EDC flashlight! :twothumbs

Dioni :Thanks for the welcome, I have always been a lurker then a poster. Just only recently I got back to CPF to learn about LED and such. WOW things have changed since the hot wire m@glite days.

I can't wait until I get a Surefire M2 with a XPG-R2 dropin with a crenelated bezel, and sapphire glass window! The only thing that I am missing is money and time!!!!:thumbsdow

One quick thing, you know that the M2 bezels aren't the best choice to deal with the heat from an LED drop-in, right? The shock isolation feature limits the heat flow out of the dropin - not a terminal problem, just not an optimum configuration. I really like the C-series, I imagine you've read the master SureFire C2/C3 thread here, if that didn't win you over, I guess the M2 is OK as well. :p

Kestrel thanks for the tip with the C2 head instead of M2 head for heat management. I will go check out the 2 threads, looks pretty informative to me.

Even then I am now considering using the C2 head instead of an M2 due to the cost. To me the M2 doesn't worth the $20 - 50 differences compare to a C2.

Thanks again to all the great replies guys. :grin2:

I agree with the above posters. If an LED drop-in is destined for this light, I'd go with the C2 over the M2. I did a test a while back regarding heat dissipation of SF bezels. If you are interested, you can see the results here:
Tested: SureFire Bezels and Heat Dissipation for LEDs

With that being said, I don't think I've ever felt a more robust feeling flashlight than my M2.
