Been looking for a new (or ultimate) EDC 18650. I like the ThruNight scorpion but dont like the plastic end cap switch.
The Zebralight SC600 is very promising yet does not have strobe. Im looking at the Klarus XT2C with that strobe feature, EagleTac TC20,smaller EagleTac D25, Jetbeam Jet III M R5, I love my HDS 18650s yet want one handed activation. The O Light M-20 has been a long time favorite in this size yet I think there may be more advances out there now. Shingbeam's P Rockets are a real value as well. leaning towards the Klarus but feel like I have to own that 18650 ZL I may go for the 'headlamp version". The ET TC 20 seems like its the most powerful and it does offer a GREEN LED drop in!

1 vote for the Eagtac T20. apart from the various dropins (OP XML T6, SMO XPG S2, etc.) and color choices (CW, NW, ..), you get an amazing frosted lens as accessory (With ZL its a new torch you would have to buy lol), can buy separate lenses (so-called "user-replaceable lens") as accessory, have tons of other accessories (gun mount, colored lenses, etc.), and the Fenix diffuser tip (Candle!) fits too (with 1 layer of shrink wrap).

i havent seen anyone on the forums criticizing the T20 for some substantial drawback, because there isnt. The Gui is great too (you get 2 tactical strobes, 1 of which can be hidden). the light starts in Turbo mode or in Medium mode, depending on the head position.

it's the house torch of our big house. (and maybe too sharp as pocketable EDC. the bezel is razor-sharp.)

has momentary activation.

I'll second the Eagletac T20C2 MkII. It's a great light, and don't forget the lifetime warranty.

good point I am referrning to a 18650 HDS TWISTY.

I first considered the TC20 a few months ago for a high powered tactical belt carried light. While not an ideal size for EDC I went with the ThurNight V3 catapault (with a green filter added). I also got the EagleTAC P20A2 with green LED drop in. I like the green so much Ive never used the XML white original. Ever since my T10L I've been a believer on ET quality. I like the options offered and the power of the EagleTac TC20. it appears to be the choice over the Klarus XT2C and seems like a better move then the O Light M20 (a light Ive thought to be ideally suited to LEO or rough and ready EDC.)
for the color rendition, and beam quality I hope to get the ZebraLight, most likely the angled/headlamp version, only wish it had a clip.
My next move (I apprciate the feedback here) is to revisit my desire to add the ET TC20 to my collection. only a question as to WHERE to get the ET. Illumination Gear or Going Gear???
