Both variants are available to me from a local E-tailer (same place I snagged all of my outlet LR35R's and TK30 LEP's):
You searched for FENIX SILVGLOW LIMITED EDITION - Teno Astro
www.tenoastro.no
Currently 19x available in Natural, and 29x in Colourblast.
...but an AAA light? Eh, I am a Fenix fan, but this feels like a pure collector's item or an art piece.
Are they actually good lights? I really prefer good utility over good looks (and the Colourblast looks good, no question).
I see the point in a physically small light, but an AAA vs something like a FireFlies PL47MU or Emisar D4K (both being 21700)?AAA lights are immensely useful, especially with a good high CRI emitter. In all honesty I'd prefer aluminum over steel, but the light is still quite tempting.

Personally, I really don't see the point in something that small vs something with 10x the output if needed at 3x the size for most usecases.
Depends on the exact use, of course. I don't want any 21700 light on my keychain due to being too big, and I am looking at a Convoy T3 Titanium for that use. But for anything else? Not really.
Do please describe some of your AAA usecases for me. Perhaps there are some I haven't considered yet.![]()
You've described the exact use case, at least for me. The most useful light is the light I have with me. Granted the largest I might carry is an 18650 light, those aren't always in my pockets due to their size. I do have a AAA light always attached to my keys. When using my keys, it's nice to flip on the AAA light to light the path and then I wedge it between my middle and ring finger while my index and thumb hold the key to open the door. No need to use another hand to pull out a larger light; the whole action is one-handed.I see the point in a physically small light, but an AAA vs something like a FireFlies PL47MU or Emisar D4K (both being 21700)?
