A Tigerlight Tail

One of my co-workers is an ex-LEO that knows the value of a good flashlight. He always thought that the Stinger was the best that could be bought untill I showed him some of my stash. I bought the 8 inch "special" from Dan and brought one to work for show and tell. He liked it very much so I offered to sell him my extra one. I told him to take it home to try it outside in the dark. He came back to work after a day off and I asked him if he wanted to buy it. "Oh yes" said he. "And some of the sheriffs officers want one also". It seems that he also helps out his police friends at traffic accidents. He helped out at one with the Tigerlight and got comments like "GD" and "What the h*** is that?". He was holding the light for the EMT and she asked him to turn the light away so she could examine the victims eyes with her Gag light. He only had the spill light on the victim. He smirked when he told me deputies only had Stingers. Looks like another convert on the way.

I thought you folks here at CPF would like to hear this happy "Tail".

I have a question: when retailers (such as Tactical Warehouse) mentions LEO and military discounts, what kinda amount are we talkin here? Is it like 5-10% off or more like 50%? In other words, how much are the buying public paying more for essentially the same light as an officer of the law?
