But I can not believe that the promise to me. What do you think will this flashlight work normally?

Looks like a converted ryobi light. What are the chances that the whole thing melts once you turn it on? 🙂

Yes! This lamp uses batteries, Ryobi. This is a completely new model of light. I correspond with the manufacturer ... He writes that the LED current is fed only 1.4a This is done on purpose, that would reduce the heat and prolong the life

2.4AH is not very much capacity to work with... XMLs have a Vf of about 3.05V at 1.4A...
Using an 18V battery, its concievable to operate this without a driver. Lets just say the battery has 18V nominal, so 6S8P... 8 x 1.4A = 11.2A consumption... :thinking: plus each LED would yield 4.27W [3.05V x 1.4A] at that spec, 48 of them is about 205W in just heat alone. Something does not add up here

And in "28 000 Lumen" - 15 minutes.
