Hello,

I'm new here and I'm desperately looking for a very small (trying to fit it in a holder) circuit or something to get my 1.2v D-cell battery to deliver around 3.6v at around 0.5A... How do I do this? You see, I have no knowledge on this whatsoever... :p

I have searched on google for a while and can't seem to understand half the diagrams and the fancy stuff:)
Can anyone give me a direct link on where to buy one, please?

Welcome to CPF, cowai.

Check out The Sandwich Shoppe Section - their MadMax converter boards are 0.55" and you can customize some of them to your desired current drive. The "madmax" is the first that comes to mind as potentially useful for you.

:ohgeez:I forgot to paste the link:

The Shoppe is also a great place to get all sorts of modding supplies.

OK, I see... I have decided to use TWO D-cell batteries.. Then I would get more Amps out of a madmax, right?

Hey, thanks for all your help. I really thankful, but I have one more question to you:
Do I need some resistors or something to setup/adjust the voltage on the "madmax plus"?
Or has it its own adjuster?

There is no adjustment on the Madmax converter board. Its limit is based on input current which is 1A.

What? So giving it a certain voltage will give me a certain voltage, and I can't easyly adjust it? If I give it 2,5v at 500mA, which voltage will it give me?
