A19 CREE XR-E 1x123 Flashlight Question

In reference to the A19 CREE XR-E 1X123 flashlight sold at the shop. Can this be run safely on a Pila 168S or 2 123's? Or would I need the 2X123 light for this application. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It will eat a Pila 168S ok, but the voltage of 2x123 or 2xRCR123 is too much. Someone correct me plz if I'm wrong.

I run the A19 Cree sometimes on the 168S in a L4 body, and it really has a good look and feel to it, IMO. Plus lots of lumens.
