Well, I was playing around with my A2's and realized that the really old ones seem to have a different tailcap than the later ones, just like the very old L1's
You'll see the difference in the picture - it's the ridges/design/whatever it's called.
The really old one has a S/N of A00633 and a short clip. Yes, I've had it for a while - bought it new at a gun show a long time ago.
The second one has a S/N of A11266 and a long clip - it has the same kind of tailcap as my A2 with round sides.
Anyway, just thought I'd sare.
