My dad bought a 158 led light on ebay a couple years ago. It came with what appears to be two AA(4) to D adapters. So the light runs 8 AA in series (12 volts). I can not find these for sale by themselves anywhere. Where can I find some of these for sale or instruction on how to make them.

Thanks

Someone not so long ago posted a link to a 4AA to D adapter from one of the well known online vendors. I thought it was Lighthound, but I can't find it now and I have lost the bookmark.

If anyone remembers, could they repost the link?

Thanks.

Anyone got a link? I am still looking for 4AA -> D converters/adapters.

I would settle for a well made but inexpensive 3AA parallel D adapter. That would fit in place of D cells in most things. 4AA doesn't always fit. I saw one vendor that makes 3AA series adapters that are like the 3AAA cartridges found in lights. I wonder if you could mod them to parallel use.
