Well after being stung with a cheap useless charger the other month that does not terminate. You have to work the mah out and time etc which was not mentioned in advert:rolleyes: I bought a couple of converters. No review, nothing new here just when i originally searched for the adapters i struggled no end, hence buying a rubbish C/D charger .

Having a D cell tk50 is what pushed me towards a couple of nimh D cells, admittedly i did not buy the best, just energizer cells, fine for my use as its.......well hardly used:laughing: but with that, swings and roundabouts............i thought i bought LSD of which i did not.So some centura will be on the cards, not only far higher mah,but LSD too so a no brainer .

Now i am happy with my vapex 8 indipendent cell charger(its great tbh) iirc i paid around £18 or $30 give/take

Works a treat:twothumbs £3 each so $10 for the 2 adapters delivered and can use your own dedicated charger.Bought from banggood, was with me within 9 days......pretty good.

Mr mcnair wont be interested in this old hat stuff though:nana:;)

I assume they take a looong time to charge? d cell capacity with a aa/aaa charger? actually prob not, as they are 2500mah.... same as most new aa eneloops XxX. youd be better off with some aa eneloops and a plastic sleeve to bulk them out. search flea bay for "d cell aa adaptor". if you open your d cells up, thats what you'll find inside. :)

if you use three cells, check out this.

youd have to use a d cell spacer, not a c cell though.

have fun!

The adapters were highlighted in another post last year. You can usually find them on eBay by searching for "C & D battery adapter charge". Usually about US$10 for a pair.

Think i bought adaptors from 7dayshop or maplins,no where near as good as yours but mine do the job and i use them for my Tesco light for out in the barns.

I tried everywhere tbh ,searched for days,eBay UK nothing at time .Then in new arrivals at banggood I spotted them so snapped 2 up.

Had searched on here and iirc had found a post which put me on to the adapters ,but could not find available to buy.

Had thought about eneloops but some of the cases don't look up to much and sure the AA eneloops would not last as long as the d cells(could be wrong just an assumption)

Its not a priority as lights not used ,but I will invest in some 8000mah cells at a later date which are LSD
