I own a pair of cheap green lasers, a <=5mw and a <=20mw - the usuals very cheap "stilos" you buy on eBay. I know quality isn't top notch (!) but at the moment it's enough.
One thing concerns me: batteries. Alkaline end up very quickly. NiMh last longer and are economic but the laser don't shine as much as he can.
Lithium batteries are the best, but are bit pricey.

Searching on eBay, I found this AAA Li-Ion rechargables:
eBay - Xmods AAA 3.7 Volt Lithium-Ion Rechargable Battery

Any experiences or advises about it?
Or any other info about batteries suitable for this kind of cheap / small laser pointers?

Thanks,
Bye!

The site doesn't say what the amp-hour rating of the cells is. Probably not much. Also, those cells are 3.7 volts per cell. Two of them in the pointer would be too much.
Have you tried e2 lithium cells yet ??

Argh! You are right, off course. I was thinking about 3.7 for two and overlooked that... :(

Not yet. I was just about asking also for recommendation on lithium batteries. Do you think those are especially good?

Thanks,
Bye!
