Since they're charging $12.99 for four AA eneloops (a normal price) I think you can be sure that the 36 AAA thing is an error.

I'm sure it's a 4 pack - NY dealers are famous for these kind of 'typo deals' - people jump on them get the wrong thing then they weasel out of refunding or making it right. Their 4 pack AA's are list 19.99 and selling at 12.99 . There's no way they are selling 9 of these 4 packs of AAA for less than one pack of AA - that would for sure be way below their cost even.

Something is definitely wrong here! It says "GE/SANYO GES-AM36AAA eneloop 36 Pack of Rechargeable AAA Alkaline Batteries".

Eneloop are not alkaline cells but Nimh!

If you search the JR Products site for AA Eneloop batteries you see a 4 pack for $12.99. So, the error must be that the AAA batteries for sale are a 4 pack for 10.99, not a 36 pack. The same language is used for the AA Eneloops, i.e. rechargeable alkalines, which of course can't both be true.

At the time of this post, it looks like JR has corrected the web page for this product. It no longer says "eneloop."

Get the AA Eneloops at Ritz camera, if you can find one in your area. They're $11.99 for a 4 pack and you won't have to pay shipping. Unfortunately, they don't carry AAA.
