I'm going to be pulling the trigger (finally) on a good quality charger setup soon. It will be used for Li-Ions and LiFePO4 cells.
Am I better off with one of the AC/DC chargers like the Hyperion or Bantam models, or should I go DC only and either pop for a power supply or use a 12V deep cycle automotive/marine battery as the power source?
I want to charge/balance at least 6 cells at a time, as fast as possible. I'll probably build a holder which will look like a pack to the charger, and I'll want to be able to charge fewer cells at times, like one or two.
Does either format have more benefits?
