Acebeam Carry Handle Picatinny Rail, ideas and suggestions for mounting accessories

I noticed the carry handle on my K75 is basically a picatinny rail, and the front is also drilled/tapped for something. This gave me the idea of mounting a very small, floody type light on the rail for small tasks where you don't want to turn on the main light. Maybe even mount a laser pointer.

Has anyone tried this before?
