Hello Acebeam,
I was wondering if you could shed some light ( no pun intended ) as to why my K60 has failed.
Symptoms as follows;
First noticed as an occasional flickering on level 4,
flickering then became flashing on and off of light in no set pattern,
Progressed to other intermediate levels, then intermittent failure of these levels,
Last to be affected was low and turbo, they then also failed,
Torch now is pretty much useless.
Sometimes it will run for 5 - 10 minutes, then play up, other times, it plays up immediately,
It is totally standard and not modified in any way.
The only thing I have done, is sparingly loctited the tailcap to the body, but the issues were before this. This was done as a response to the ' spring issues ', and in the hope it may have solved the problem.
Cells used was the same set of ACEBEAM high drain 3400mAh 18650's all the time.
I have used other high drains, but same result.
Light would be about 2 years old.
Please help, I miss my K60.
:sigh:
