Over 6 months and no updates on their own forum section.

People understand when a company says "We can't release that information".
Instead, silence is often understood as "We don't care".

I wonder which one is the case here.

Even if I said to myself 'you only live once' and bought this light, I also say to myself 'what if it quits working ?'.
Rather large light to send to China for repairs

It also states at the bottom of the sales add page...........

W50 is an industrial grade product, only for search and rescue, fire fighting, border, prison, electricity, airports, terminals, factories and mines, as well as for various specialised industries. The laser's class is Class 3B. Therefore, online retail is not supported. An enterprise-level security agreement is required for purchasing.

The Acebeam W50 is listed at around 4 million candela. Initially, it was supposed to be 6 million candela.

I have a couple Vinh-modified flashlights, both Mateminco MT90vn+'s, that are slightly more than 3 million candela.

That is close enough to 4 million that I won't be tempted to spend $2,300 for a W50. If the W50 were still 6 million candela, the temptation would be much greater.

This is by far the smallest light that reaches 4 million mcd though. I guess that would be the appeal of spending so much money on it.
