My friends dad works as a kind of tech pimp selling high tech equipment to companies as a representative. Anyways he knows I like lights and all things energy, so he showed me the Aculed Evaluation Kit made by PerkinElmer. Well long story short he let me borrow this high power 4 die LED and driver board.
It consists of a microprocessor controlled board, it has an autoplay mode that cycles the RGB channels via a predetermined program. It also has a computer link through a usb-com port which allows you to mix the channels on a PC. It has onboard POT's for each channel, as well as a memory/recall feature which will store 1 recorded mixture. It's really quite neat.
Unfortunately I can't upload any pics, but here is the LED heatsink with LED mounted under a removable optic.

Did I mention he is in the process of a $250,000 sales deal for equipment with Surefire?
