AD15.jpg

Price from Ali / Less than $20 Oz bananas to my door
HRC - 55/50 ( 55HRC bites / 50HRC skates )
Bevel - 16 degrees per side ( Factory angle )
Rope slice = 650 slice fail
Edge = 80Grit Grind on the wet stone grinder / knife sharpener ( Factory edge not tested - Some what FUBAR )
Edge degradation was felt from 500 slices .
Spine lightly ground for Bushcraftyness .

Slicing rope , the gimping on the spine was a pain giver ! @ 250 slices I had to go to the Pain Reducer ( Leather Rope Glove ) .
Pain also when scraping wood .. The longer you scraped wood the more Pain U were rewarded with !
With some light grinding of the spine , the knife was satisfactorily bushcrafty . ( Except for the pain ) .
Hmmmmm , Good and Bad ! Decent performance , above average pain and suffering with extended use .
Any knife that causes PAIN when used , is not a knife you want ! For occasional use the AD15 is probably ok , but for a decent cutting session = Hell No !
Looking for a working knife , look somewhere else .
Video Soon !

Do you Love it ?
I mean , the AD10 / 15 look so uncomfortable .. Why shell out for a shelf Queen ?
( Clone is a serious Pain Giver or Hand Held Torture Device - For me )

I like it. Looks can definitely be deceiving, sometimes.
Couple of hot-spots if you bear down on it. But far from painful.
Who says she's a shelf Queen? I love using my knives. Regardless of size.

If they be Pain Givers , they become Shelf Queens or Trade Goods .
How often do you slice something 100's of times ? Or 650 in this case . That's a lot of cutting .
But then if you own 100's of knives ........ How many can you use at any given time ?

In a survival (?) situation , you may be using your knife all day long ..
The last thing you want in such a situation , is a knife that is going to torture you ! ( Extended Use )
No knife is unbearable if you only need it for a slice or two , then they are all Good !
It's just when push comes to shove , you want something that's going to not hinder you .

No torture from this model from Cold Steel.
Again, sometimes looks are deceiving.

I've owned a genuine AD15 and AD10. Neither have caused me pain. I'd say the AD10 is one of the most ergonomic large knives I've ever owned. The AD15 was also comfortable, only the diamond texture in the G10 scale and tight clip shredded a few pockets.
