Adj. focus, green >5mw?

Please define adjustable focus.

Either what your aiming for or what you want to get would be fine.

Remember, these are not flashlights, a friendly adjustment system like the twist head on a mag lite is very very unlikely.

Well, first of all! I don't know squat about lasers but I've had a red laser with a adjustable front barrel for several years. So, as distance in increased and the spot increases, your able to focus the spot to a smaller diameter.

I've already seen these for sale on-line with a 5mW green laser. Just wonder if there is something higher that 5mW available?

Try this: Laser

thats the link to the leadlight 105. you'll need the one i posted for direct link, or you can just click the link on that page. either way, you'll get there. It does say how ever, that it focuses for shorter distances....... so maybe not good for distance, but maybe burning stuff?

That unit could very well have the same guts as a Leadlight 105. (Look at the button, clip, and end cap for the batteries, very similar) So you could quite possibly mod that unit, but I don't know of any place to buy a high power pointer with the adjustable lens on the end like that one.

Edit: Added picture

I didn't try your link! In fact, this is where I bought my red laser years ago.

They also seem to be quite overpriced. (Leadlight 105's for $100) So you might want to try to find the S532A somewhere else if you are thinking about modding it.

i think the guy that owns the site was constantly spamming the google Alt.lasers forum. i'm pretty sure its the same site, Spec has more details i think. but yeah, overpriced leadlights for sure. Highly likeley you can pick one of those focusable ones cheaper.

Hmm, need some Laser's 101 here!

What's this leadlight 105 stuff? Might have to do some reading to understand the lingo here! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

the leadlight 105 is an older model leadlight, that is easily moddable. the new model, the 110, however has turned out to be a tougher nut to crack......

the 105 is the good one!
