Aleph 3 head and IR Filter

Anybody know if there might be a Surefire or possibly a Pila / Wolfeyes tipoff IR Filter that will fit the Aleph 3?

My partners kid is back in the states from Iraq and I want to upgrade his McGizmo PR weapon light with the Aleph 3 and throw in an IR filter. He has it mounted to his rifle through a forend picatinny rail mount and uses a 3 cell McLux body with the tailguard cut-off. A mini-mag tape switch or the Kroll switch is used for activation.

A Surefire tape switch would be great. Than he could use a 2,3 or four cell body but they won't sell them individually at this time.

The output in the IR range may be disappointing if you're accustomed to using IR filters with incandescents.

Actually the IR filter would be more of a safety for the light so it doesn't emit visible light at inopportune times.

Anybody know the diameter of the Aleph 3? I suck at math.
And don't ever get the same measurement twice.
