Hey guys,

I got a strange request for a light and it turned out to look pretty nice.

It's an Aleph II on a 1X123 body on which I removed the knurling for a sleeker look.

To the CPFer who ordered this light, don't worry. I know I stripped the wrong head. I'll do the Aleph I for you.

Thanks for looking,

Wow! That sucker is bright without battery or LED! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This shiny bare aluminum looks really nice. I wish I had access to someone that did clear anodizing.

Post up in the machining forum. im sure somebody there will know somebody.

Cool looking light!
But where's the knurling on the body? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Paul,

I thought about that, but soon after posting the pics, this head was sold and the customer didn't want the knurling removed. I think I'll have to give this profile another try in the near future. It just looks so clean.
