I believe I owned this light previously, and performed the emitter swap. IIRC, the LED is nicely centered, has a clean glow epoxy ring around it (removes easily if desired), and is very bright with a great tint.

I also installed some shims in the tail and fine tuned it. The tailcap action is butter smooth, possibly the best McE2S tail I've used.

Bump for a great light and a good deal. Say $60 for the extra E2D tail and Balrog tube, and the light itself is only $225! This light is worth it.
